And that means Spring planting.

We have been getting busy in the garden, and helping out at the Merivale Gardens, weeding the beds and starting seeds ready for the Summer planting season!

Rogers Farm Visit 🥚🐄🚜🐑

Spring has sprung, and that brings calving season and our annual visit to Rogers Farm!

Collecting eggs, riding on the tractor and feeding the calves and lambs.

At the Greerton Centre, we’ve been enjoying lots of fun new adventures together. 

One of our favourite trips was to Redwoods Blueberry Farm. 

The sun was shining, and the bushes were full of ripe, juicy blueberries.

We each had a bucket and picked as many berries as we could. 

   

Back at the Centre, we used the blueberries in our cooking group 

to bake some yummy muffins. 

Another fun day was when we went to Maxwells Beach. 

The weather was perfect for being by the water. 

We all helped to pump up the paddle board,

 taking turns to make sure it was ready.

 Then, one by one, we tried paddle boarding. 

Some of us were a bit nervous at

 first, but once we got the hang of

 it, it was amazing. 

Being out on the calm water felt

 peaceful and relaxing.
